Oman Electricity Transmission Company has decided to perform an upgrading of the existing 132/33 kV Mubila -1 GS with 220 kV system. The Scope of Works includes design, equipment and material materials supply and upgrading works of the existing 132/33 kV Mubila -1 GS to 220 kV and its connection to the 220kV System via LILO to Filaj / Airport Height 220kV OHL.
Connecting of 220kV System at upgraded Mabella-1 GS to 220kV OHL “Filaj / Airport Height” included:
- Construction of new 220 kV GIS
- Installation of 2 (two) 500MVA, 220/132kV transformers
- Construction of 4 (four) parallel 220 kV Cable line between 220kV GIS and cable compounds
- Extension of existing 132kV GIS for 2 (two) Incomer bays, 132kV cable connection between 132kV Side of 500MVA Transformers and existing 132 kV GIS
