The project addresses provision of engineering consultancy services for retrofitting and modification of existing 132/11kV OXYGEN Substation and New 132/11kV NATURE Substation for Akoya-Oxygen Master Development at Al-Yufrah-2, Dubai for Frontline Investment Management Co. LLC. The Scope of Works includes review and approval of the Contractor proposed materials, drawings, calculations, vendors and subcontractors including obtaining DEWA approval prior to issuing the approvals to the Contractor, review of the Contractor’s planning and programme, site supervision services during construction including appropriate monitoring and approving of the testing & commissioning of Oxygen Substation and Nature Substation.
Design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 132/11kV OXYGEN Substation and NATURE Substation included:
- Construction of new Substation buildings for NATURE Substation
- Retrofitting works related to existing substation building for Oxygen Substation
- Supply & Installation of 132kV GIS in each Substation
- Supply & Installation of 3 (Three) 50MVA, 132/11kV transformers in each Substation
- Supply & Installation of 15MVAr Shunt Reactor in each Substation
- Supply & Installation of 3 (Three) 500kVA, 11/0.4kV earthing transformers in each Substation
- Supply & Installation of 11kV Switchgear in each Substation
- Supply & Installation of 6 (Six) capacitor banks
- Supply & Installation of associated control & protection systems
