FEED for Replacement of Crude Transfer Lines at Dukhan, Qatar
The Objective of This Project Is to Ensure The Reliability And Integrity Of Crude Transfer System By Replacing The Existing MOL Transfer Lines And Associated Facilities.
Front-End Engineering Design:
- New 10” Diameter Aboveground Pipeline Between KSDS And KMDS. Decommissioning/ Demolition Of Existing 12” Diameter MOL.
- New 12” Diameter Aboveground Pipeline Between FNDS And FMDS. Decommissioning/ Demolition Of Existing 10” Diameter MOL.
- New 10” Diameter Aboveground Pipeline Between FSDS And FMDS. Decommissioning/ Demolition Of Existing 12” Diameter MOL.
- Main Oil Lines Related Facilities (Pig Launcher / Receiver, Valves, Fittings, Supports And The Like)
- A New Pipeline Monitoring System/Leak Detection System (LDS) To Be Provided For The New Pipelines. LDS Nodes Shall Be Installed At KMDS And FMDS. These Nodes Will Gather Process Data From Respective Stations’ FCS/ESD And Provide Localized Leak Detection Facility. A Central System Shall Be Installed At DIC Which Collect Data From Above Mentioned Nodes And Provide Central Monitoring/Leak Detection For Complete MOL & Crude Transfer Pipeline System.
- New Field Instruments, Including F&G Detectors For Local And Remote Monitoring, Control And Safeguarding Of New Pipelines. The Instruments And Detectors Shall Be Interfaced With Respective Stations’ New FCS, ESD And F&G Systems.
- All Necessary Modifications Related To Process, Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil/Structural, Environmental And Loss Prevention Works.
- All Necessary Modification To The Utility Systems.
- Extending The Condensate Lines /Oily Water Lines (From Whtps And Other Plants) To Connect To Respective New MOL Pipelines From The Nearest Point After Duly Blinding The Tie-In Point At The Existing MOL Pipelines. This Includes Condensate Line From KM Old Dehydration Plant.
- A New F&G Detection System And Fire Protection System Consisting Of Fire Water System And Portable Fire Extinguishers.
