Dukhan HV Substation SCADA System Upgrade, Qatar

Qatar Petroleum (QP) is the Qatari national oil and gas producing, processing and exporting company. QP has oil and gas producing fields located onshore at Dukhan. The Dukhan Fields Area is located in western part of Qatar, approximately ninety-five (95) km from the capital Doha. This area extends about eighty-five (85) km from north to south, in a corridor, which is roughly fifteen (15) km wide. The main objectives of this project are to integrate the most of the unmanned Dukhan HV Substations into the HV S/S SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system over a reliable, secure and dedicated telecommunication network. Remote monitoring and Control are the major intended functionalities of the new HV S/S SCADA system.
