Wind Farm KOSTOLAC (66 MW), Serbia

Wind Farm KOSTOLAC is situated in the Municipality of Kostolac, 90 km East of Serbian capital Belgrade, next to the Danube River. The wind farm will consist of 20 wind turbines, having a total capacity of 66 MW. The wind park will be built on the existing tailing dumps, former open coal mines. The investment value is estimated at around EUR 96 million and will be funded through a loan from the KfW Development Bank.

The construction of the wind begins in April 2021. The works are carried put in line with FIDIC Terms of Contract.

Energoprojekt ENTEL has been awarded consultancy services contract and assumed FIDIC Engineer role together with Fichtner GmbH, Germany. The Consultant is tasked with the preparation of tender documentation, review of submitted proposals, review of detailed design to be developed by the selected contractor, as well as provision site supervision services until final commissioning.
