The UN team has planned to install a solar (PV) power plant on the roof of the building in question, thus contributing to the broad UN initiative – to run its operations in a resource-efficient, sustainable and accountable way.

Designed capacity of PV power plant on the roof of UNDP building equals 25 kW. The PV plant shall be connected to building distribution board and it is predicted to reduce import of electrical energy from distribution network.
