WPP BASAID1

Construction of Wind Power Plant BASAID (85 MW), Serbia

Banat region is recognized as a windy area in the north east part of Serbia, as confirmed by numerous studies and measurements. For the said reasons, several wind farms have already been installed in the area, while a number of new plants are already under construction or planned to be constructed in a period to come.

Newly planned Wind Power Plant BAŠAID, shall be constructed in the municipality of Kikinda and will consist of 15 wind generators, with total installed capacity of approximately 85 MW. Wind generators shall be interconnected with 35 kV cable network, in four cable rings, to the new 110/35 kV substation and further to transmission system owned by Serbian power transmission operator (Elektromreža Srbije – EMS).

Energoprojekt ENTEL is in charge of developing design documentation in line with local regulations, from planning documentation stage up to building permit.
