During 2017, Oman Electricity Company (OETC) floated the tender for Consultancy Services for Design and Supervision of new 132/33kV Mirbat GS with 2x63MVA Transformers. Project was initiated by additional capacity requirement in the area due to growth in tourism and construction of Naval Military Base Sultan Qaboos beside Mirbat. Project title was altered during Design stage into “Construction of 132/33kV Mirbat GS and Associated OHL from Ashoor GS to Mirbat GS”, including Project includes beside Construction of Grid Station, construction of 31.5km of 132kV double circuit Over Head Line on steel towers.
After EPC Contracts awarding (expected in second quarter of 2019) Energoprojekt supervision team will carry on Construction Supervision and Project Management of the project considering period for completion of twenty (20) months.
