Abu Dhabi Transmission and Dispatch Company (TRANSCO) awarded Energoprojekt Entel a consultancy services for Addition of 3rd 132/33kV Transformer at Khor Fakkan and Khalba Substations. The scope of the project includes modification of 132kV GIS, installation of new power Transformers, modification of AVR & Interlocking System, 132kV Protection System, SCMS System, Tariff Metering, FMS System, New 132kV and 33kV cables for interconnection, Earthing system extension and related MEP works for Khor Fakkan and Khalba substations and An auto-close scheme on the 33kV is required which shall parallel three (3) 132/33kV transformers out of 4 under the fault outage of one 132/33kV transformer (for future use) at Khalba Substation.
Under consultancy services EPEs scope is to prepare EPC tender Documents, tendering, EPC contract Award, Design review and site supervision during construction and warranty period. The overall project duration is estimated to be 46 months.
