Engineering Consultancy Services for 132/11V Substation for DP Word at New Terminal T4, Dubai

The works related to 132/11kV Substations (MPS)  represent a part of DPW’s expansion of Shipping Terminals. The scope of works includes conceptual design, tendering, design review, site supervision and project management of turnkey Design and Built works of 132/11kV Shipment substations as per the requirement of Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) & DP World. Substation is located at Newl terminal T4.

The Scope of Consultancy Services covers conceptual design, tendering, estimate, design verification, supervision, witnessing FAT/type tests, Project management and warranty services etc.

Services provided

  • Conceptual Design
  • Tender documents preparation and verification;
  • Cost Estimation
  • Clarifications to queries raised by tenderers (EPC contractors) during tendering stage;
  • Technical evaluation of received bids and preparation of Technical evaluation report;
  • Commercial Evaluation of received bids and preparation of commercial evaluation report and final recommendations;
  • Tender negotiations and assistance in contract award;
  • Preparation of respective contract documents ;
  • Design revise, including documents, drawings, material, method statements etc.
  • Project Management (including but not limited to overall project management, schedule controlling, monitoring, interface management and controlling, etc).
  • Site Supervision of site construction activities, testing and witnessing the tests by contractor on all equipment during and after the construction;
  • FATs in the manufacturers’ facilities;
  • Supervision of the commissioning and subsequent warranty period services.
  • Handing over to End User.
