Telecommunication links between Vlasina HPPs, Serbia

The project addresses Basic design of telecommunication system for interconnection of Vlasina HPPs, namely HPP VRLA 1, HPP VRLA 2, HPP VRLA 3, HPP VRLA 4, PAP (Pump Accumulation Plant) LISINA in Serbia.

Design gives proposal for telecommunication transportation network as well as telecommunication equipment. Telecom system provides:

  • Telemetry services on remote objects
  • Video surveillance on all objects
  • LAN (Local Area Network) data exchange among objects
  • Centralized supervision of all objects.

Services provided

  • Survey of all objects and existing telecom network.
  • Solution proposal for fiber optic network among HPP VRLA 1, HPP VRLA 2, HPP VRLA 3, HPP VRLA 4, PAP (Pump Accumulation Plant) LISINA.
  • Solution proposal for fiber optic network among every HPPs and belonging objects.
  • Solution proposal of CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) system on related objects.
  • Technical solution for IP (Internet protocol) based Telecommunication Equipment to provide requested telecom services.

Technical data

  • System covers 40 objects, with 41,2km of OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) cable and 39km of underground FOC (Fibre Optic Cables).
