The construction of the diesel fuel operated power plant was initiated in order to meet increased electricity demands in Dhofar Governorate. The scope of works includes supply, delivery, installation & testing of 6x8 MW (11KV), Prime Power, Medium Speed, Diesel Generating Sets with all auxiliaries for Saih al - Khairat New Power Station with day tanks, radiators, all required DG controls and synchronizing, load sharing & parallel running with the existing D.G. sets. All other systems required for plant operation such as Diesel oil storage and handling system, DM water plant, lube oil system, air compressor system, Black start DG set, step-up and step-down transfomers, has been also included in scope of work.
